MATH 490: Special Topics for Spring 2003

Mathematics and Computer Science juniors and seniors, if you are interested
in any of the following topics let George at CAS 206J (email gvoutsad@lssu.edu,
extension 2667) know:

• automata and formal languages

• category theory for computing science

• logic for mathematics and computer science

• the theory of sets 

• topology

George will be teaching a Special Topics MA490 in the
spring of 2003 on one of the above topics. The topic which
will attract the greatest interest will be given priority!
