List of topics that I like (but
that may be difficult!):
- Waste-water problems as related to population increase, industrial
activity and
agricultural activity.
- Consumer spending as related to economic growth, stock market rise
and fall and
employment and unemployment rates.
- Drug innovations as related to government research spending, industrial
research
spending and industry's profits.
- Underage birth rates as related to education spending and other (?)
social and
economic factors.
- Weapons sales and economic indices as they pertain to different world
powers.
- Car sales, new car models as related to the state of the economy, the
unemployment
rate and the rises and falls of the stock market.
- Overweight rate in the US as related to fast food industry expansion,
state of the
economy, education spending and political correctness movement spending.
- Study of spending on foreign policy. What influences it and what it
influences.
- Any of the UMAP contest problems of the last few years gives a very
interesting
topic for a Project, but some of them are very very concrete.
